Brief
This was a project I undertook whilst working as a Graduate Project Engineer for DigitME. Our clients, Footfall had several safety forms that required filling out on a daily bases as part of their machinery and worker safety checks. These forms were all currently paper based. After a client interview and site visit we created a feasibility study and review. The feasibility study recommended a simple SQL database with a Django web app as the back end. The client agreed with our findings and I began with development of a prototype in XD in order to ensure that the front end meets the users requirements.
Wireframes
The following wireframes were created for the user.
The user was extremely pleased with the prototype and we found no issues during user testing, with only a few minor alterations for the design.
Development
I then developed the application within Django using Python. The customer and my stakeholder team at DigitMe were updated as I developed the product and then handed over to the customer.
