I have been working in Software development and UX design for several years, whilst completing my apprenticeship degree in Digital and Technology Solutions. My previous roles include working at the University of Central Lancashire as a Project Engineer and before that as an IT technician for the school of Computing and Engineering where I built and managed several departmental networks.
Outside of work I am a keen fell runner, rock climber and general lover of the outdoors. I find that no matter how stressful or busy work gets, as long as I am able to get outside at the end of the day, then I can clear my mind and find any solutions that have been eluding me in my work life.
I am also a member of a comedy troupe called Pop-Up Puppet Cinema, where we perform condensed versions of classic Hollywood blockbusters with our homemade puppets. We have performed at several large music festivals and venues. This includes Kendal Calling, Bluedot, Deershed, Bloodstock as well as SciFi Weekender and several other Comic and Horror conventions
